Focus

My research is on change in financial intermediation, especially technologically driven change. Through my empirical work I aspire to understand risks and challenges these developments generate. Currently I am particularly interested in innovation in payments, such as "buy now, pay later, CBDCs, and other digitalization. In addition to this I am also interested in empirical banking, general finance, and corporate finance.
